But a cautious undercurrent runs beneath the surface: client hesitation, thinning pipelines, and cashflow pressure are flagged as the biggest challenges ahead, with confidence for the next 12 months sitting only moderately high. Regional differences are also emerging, with Canterbury and Auckland respondents notably more upbeat than parts of the North Island, where pipelines are thinner and businesses are watching every lead closely.
